What is Mantrailing?
Mantrailing is teaching your dog to follow the scent of a missing person until they find them. Imagine Search and Rescue dogs searching for missing people in the mountains or police dogs finding runaway criminals.
If you want to try something new or have a hunting breed in need of an outlet then this could be the perfect activity for you.
What Your Dog Will Learn:
Your dog will learn to find a missing person across a variety of terrains and distances. Whilst we aim to be as skilled in our training as possible this course is intended for pet dogs and shouldn't be mistaken for a training course for operational dogs.

Where do you run classes?
The locations change regularly as mantrailing requires the dog's learning to practice in different environments. We regularly use; Ashton Court Estate, Leigh Woods, Blaise Castle, Ashton Hill Woods and Dundridge Park.
Once you've signed up you will be able to see where the class is scheduled on the booking page. Then you can select which ones you would like to attend.
When do you run classes?
We're currently running Mantrailing classes at:
Tuesdays 6:15pm (Night Mantrailing)
When does your next course start?
Immediately! Yes, really! We don't do courses. We run open-enrolment classes that means you can get started straight away. The content is designed so you won't miss anything.
Does my dog need to have done training before?
No, this is appropriate for total beginners. We only ask that your dog is friendly towards other dogs and people.
Will my dog be off-lead?
We leave it up to you as to whether you want to work your dog on or off-lead. Mantrailing can be done either way.
What age is appropriate for Mantrailing classes?
Appropriate for all dogs able to do an hour-long walk. We don't recommend it for very young puppies for this reason.
What happens after I buy this?
You'll get an automated email. The email will contain a link to a form asking you to tell us more about your dog. At the end of the form there will be a link to download our exclusive app. On the app you can use your class credits to book onto whichever mantrailing classes work for your schedule.
You'll also find a 'Social' tab where you can connect with other class attendees and ask questions.

Do I have to use my classes within a certain timeframe?
No, your class credits will remain on your account indefinitely so you don't have to worry about taking breaks or not being able to make classes.

Achievement Bandana & Certificate -
We believe that learning doesn't stop at puppyhood. That's why we give all attendees an achievement bandana, if your dog passes our mantrailing classes you will be awarded your Beginner Mantrialing Patch. This is the equivalent of a martial arts belt or Brownies badges.
If you choose to keep training you can earn various badges through our different classes and prove to the world just what an awesome team you make.
